A Great Park In The Heart Of Downtown LA – The Los Angeles State Historic Park

Los Angeles State Historic Park – Chinatown in Los Angeles, California is a state park in the historic Chinatown area of Los Angeles, California. Also referred to as the Brownfield, this area is composed of an old brownfield between Spring Street and the rails of the Metro Gold Lines. The area was once used for a commercial textile mill before it was developed. The park includes the Longshoreman’s Association building that serves as an office building for the city of San Diego. Other buildings in the area include the Pacific Building, the San Pedro Central Library, and the United States Steel Building. There are also numerous historic structures and buildings in the area such as the Old City Hall, which is a historical landmark in the area, and the historic May Co. Building, which is an office building that served as a courthouse in the area. The buildings are very close to one another, and the park is located right next to some of the most beautiful architecture in the city.
